Collection: Pre-Columbian Jewelry

We bring the Pre-Columbian magic of our ancestors, captured in beautiful pieces of handmade jewelry that connects the wisdow and knowledge of our native communities with ethical and sustainable fashion trends and style; A sample of the above can be found in the towns of pre-Columbian Colombia such as: Tairona, Quimbaya y Calima.

The Taironas used the lost-wax technique in casting. Each mold was unique and very elaborate. The pieces were three-dimentional and once taken out of the mold, all residue was removed. The pieces were then polished, glided and given a perfect finish.

Inhabiting a district where gold was less abundant than in therivers flowing into de
Pacific, the goldsmiths made wider use of gold and copper alloys.

The Calimas used complex attires in which quantity of gold used was outstanding. All the
pieces must have left uncovered only a small part of the body of the wearer.
