The iraca palm is a vegetable fiber used in different parts of Colombia for artisanal production. Its scientific name is "Carludovica palmata", but commonly, in addition to being known as iraca, it receives other names such as: paja toquilla, jipijapa, cestillo, lucuma and palmiche, among others.

Iraca palm is used to create traditional hats, bags, purses, chests, necklaces, earrings, jewelry sets, among others.
